Third time I post this image with some modification on it : thanks to the helpful poeple on this forum for their comments and good advices. I hope I won't bother the one who have chosen my portfolio in their favorites, for they will probably get a third email for this upload !
I think it's now the last time, anyway. Time to work on another piece !


Initially, this image had been made for an illustrated book's cover : the story is based on Oghams (same as Runes in the Celtic civilisation). All the Oghams are signs carved or burnt on wooden sticks. They also make together the ancient druid’s calendar. Each Ogham is related to a Tree and convey some symbols and meanings of its own. The picture represents the main character who is going to enter a quest to find all the Oghams. This picture is also the last in the book. On the full cover, the jewel ends with the “O” of the title.
